A fresh and robust sauce for home-made burgers, vegetable pasta or a relish to use as preferred. I blogged this recipe in January 2014 with home made burgers and a green banana mash.
A quick, easy to make sauce which can be tweaked to suit different preferences.
Ingredients
1 large red pepper
1 large red tomato
2-4 cloves unpeeled garlic
1 small onion, unpeeled
2 tsp chilli flakes
Freshly milled salt and pepper to taste
Here’s How
- Roast the red pepper, tomato, garlic and onions, remove all skins add to blender and blend until smooth.
- Season well and serve.
This recipe just had to be posted the day after my blender gave in………. really cant wait to buy a new one and try this recipe out as one of my issues is that i find my food to be quite dry cant wait to try it out. Thanks a mill for sharing…….. still waiting for the cook book. LOLS
