Hamburger Patty with Green Banana Mash and Red Pepper Sauce

I’m always out to try innovative eating and increasing my data base of recipes that will assist myself and others in being creative in the meal preparations.  I  recently came across this recipe  by South African (Durban lol) Rani (Queen) of  Indian Cooking, Asha Maharaj and adapted it for a low carb meal.  Tried and tested, it hits the spot if you’re craving burgers with a spicy twist and is easy, (if you love cooking) to make,  nutritious and low carb.

The banana mash and red pepper sauce add distinction to a plain meat patty.  Note that only green bananas should be used, these are generally found in fruit and veggie stores. I didn’t use full quantities for the banana mash and adjusted this recipe accordingly.  This is a recipe that is pure labour of love that I thoroughly enjoyed making.
